Results are unofficial and come from the Associated Press election results feed, refreshed about every two to three minutes; this page re-checks every 30 seconds. "Est. in" is the estimated share of the expected vote that has been counted. A race is marked called when the feed's race call is in; chamber control is shown once a party's called seats (plus senators not on the ballot) reach a majority: 51 in the Senate (Republicans control at 50 through the vice president's tie-breaking vote) and 218 in the House. "Likely" and "leans" labels are the Guardian's read of the current margin and vote counted, not calls.
